FAQs

What is a consultation and why do we have one?

I love to meet my clients for a consultation when they have their dress, because the dress often influences how someone might want to wear their hair. We get to discuss your ideas and I can advise what you may need to do with your hair in the run up to your trial so we can achieve your dream hair.

How many peoples hair can you style on the morning?

This depends on what time you are leaving. I finish the last persons hair approx 1 hour before you leave. This allows me time to revist each person for final touches. I allow approx 45 minute to 1 hour per person and up to 1.5 hours for the bride. The earliest time I can start is 6am.

When do we have a trial?

I like to do your trial around 6-12 weeks before your wedding. If you live out of the county or country we can do it a little earlier or later to fit in with your next visit.

What is a booking fee?

A booking fee reserves your wedding date in my diary and is deducted from your wedding day grand total. In the event of cancellation it is non-refundable.

How far in advance can you take a bridal booking?

I can take a booking up to 18 months in advance. Summer Saturdays are by far the most popular, so if your date falls on one of these weekends get in touch ASAP!

How do I book?

Please get in touch via the contact form and I will let you know if I have your date available. If I do, I will invite you for a Zoom consultation and send you an online booking form to sign. Once you have paid a booking fee and signed the form you date is reserved in my diary. The booking fee is deducted from your final balance.

What time will we need to start on the wedding morning?

This depends on what time you are leaving (or what time the ceremony is if staying on-site) and the number of people I will be styling. The earliest I start styling at is 6am. I would say the average start time is 7am.

Where do you carry out the trial?

I’m lucky enough to work from a stunning salon based in the centre of Norwich. Flint has been my base since 2009 and I know you’ll love it as much as I do.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CRUETLY FREE?

Yes, I am a cruelty free hairstylist! I only use products that are creutly free. Most of my products are vegan too.

Do you do make-up?

I don’t anymore, but I can give you an excellent list of make-up artists whose work I love, just ask :)
